C & J Clark International Ltd is the number one manufacturer and retailer for footwear in the UK, producing and selling more than 40 million pairs of shoes a year in over 50 countries. As part of a migration to an ERP solution, it was identified that the Supply Chain required assistance to document the current and future processes and conduct formal acceptance testing of the supporting systems. We undertook a thorough review of the business processes and documented them using BPMN. We then provided a dedicated test manager to manage all user acceptance testing phases including planning, execution and reporting. The BPMN models also facilitated a process review, identifying opportunities to improve wastage, efficiency and controls.
